If you think you know Brothers, think again!
Brothers Leagues Club Ipswich has undergone a $14 million redevelopment, with every aspect of the venue upgraded to top class standard, and this also includes the club’s culture. The transformation has been led by General Manager Brad Morgan, who for 11 years managed casinos in the Northern Territory and Queensland.
Brad has managed some of the most prestigious Leagues Clubs in the State, such as Easts Leagues Club and the Brisbane Broncos leagues Club. This extensive experience means that Brad has overseen a number of multimillion dollar refurbishments and rebrands.
Brad says Brothers Ipswich is fast becoming a dining and entertainment precinct that compares favourably with some of the best venues in the State.
“If you haven’t been to Brothers in years, the first thing you’ll notice will be the extensive physical changes,” Brad said.
“Our facilities now are second to none, not just in the Ipswich region, but throughout the state – not just as a facility, but from a customer service and dining perspective as well.
“What we’re going to deliver is not just the typical club experience, we’re going to do better than that.”
Aside from the five-star finishes made to the interior and exterior of the Club, customer service was at the forefront of thinking about the refurbishment, to ensure the staff’s knowledge and presentation matched the new physical changes.
“We’ve focused very heavily on training for our staff to increase their basic skill levels, to make sure all of our staff are aware of not just what we offer, but to be able to deliver it in a more professional manner, which is why we’ve invested in new uniforms to give our venue a more modern professional image,” Brad said.
“It’s one thing to have an improved physical image, it’s another thing to back it up with that customer service.
“That’s why we’ve also invested in customer service training for all staff.”
The things Brothers members have come to know and love won’t change – just improved to meet growing demands.
The only thing that will change will be a much more comfortable environment for people to enjoy.
“In terms of our gaming, we have added a lot of new product to the floor,” Brad said.
“We are providng a modern, up-to-date gaming facility with the latest products on offer.”
Entertainment has also been ramped up. For those looking for a venue with great atmosphere and even better music, look no further than Brothers.
Want to take out the decision making process when you’re looking for a night out, Brothers have created a line-up that means you don’t have to venture to Brisbane for quality entertainment.
The changes will include more periods of free entertainment, with a more diverse offering than before. Members and visitors will start to see more recognisable names including award-winning recording artists and a number of performers who have featured on television shows like The Voice and Australian Idol.
For the fans of live rock, Brothers will be bringing in some of the bigger and more popular party bands from amongst the best available in South East Queensland, and for the younger and more energetic members, they’ll be introducing a retro-themed dance night playing all the dancefloor hits from the 80s, 90s and 2000s.
“We want to be a venue for everyone” Brad said.
“We found that our entertainment was particularly focused in one area, so we have tried to give a more broader entertainment offering, especially to the younger demographic.”
Whether it’s dining, gaming or entertainment you’re coming for – one thing is for certain, your favourite club in Ipswich just got better.
