Kickstart the festive season this month at Riverlink Shopping Centre with the arrival of Santa Claus’! Revellers can expect to hear many a “Ho Ho Ho” when the jolly man in the red suit and Mrs Claus swing past the Centre on Saturday, the 18th November.

Entertainment on this day will kick off in the gasometer area (under the new shade sail outside BCF) at 10.30am with the Wrapping Department Christmas Show. The Elves are getting Santa ready to head out on his way and when they find they can’t manage to get things organised, the Wrapping Department will turn into chaos!

It’s a vibrant, funny and brilliant compilation of circus skills, singing, theatre and comedy for everyone of any age to enjoy.

Santa and Mrs Claus will then arrive with Mary, Joseph and the 3 Wise Men carollers with Stilt Snowlings.

After this, Santa and Mrs Claus will mosey on into the East Mall to the giant Christmas Tree for Santa Photos. The entertainment is set to continue with other roaming entertainers performing throughout the centre till 2pm that day.

Keep your eye out for something different, as this year there will be a new attraction at the giant Christmas Tree – a 2 metre high Christmas teddy bear! This Christmas teddy will be one of a kind across Queensland shopping centres, with a competition running to name the bear. If that’s not enough excitement for the kids, there’s also a colouring in competition, with Riverlink Gift Cards up for grabs for the winners of both competitions!
