Creative Workshops at Brassall Shopping Centre
Let the kid’s embrace their creative side with Brassall Shopping Centre’s arts and crafts workshops!
During the first week of holidays, kids can make their own dream catcher from 10am-2pm. Similarly, they can also design their own water bottle on the second week of holidays at the same time of 10am-2pm, with no materials required. With no bookings required, this activity is fun for kids aged 3 and over.

Bring the whole family and bounce on in to Inflatable World. It’s not just for the kids – adults are welcome to join in and have fun with the young ones also. Sessions are for two hours per single entry fee, and you’re guaranteed to be tuckered out by the end of it. You can play on the inflatable activities as many times as you like during the two hour session and supervisors are there to make sure everyone is safe!

An exhibition where architecture meets creative play. Twelve iconic mega towers from Australian and Asian cities have been astonishingly replicated at 1:200 scale using only Lego® bricks. Explore the line-up of incredible scale-model constructions by Ryan McNaught, one of only 12 LEGO® Certified Professionals worldwide. Be quick, the exhibit finishes 9 July! Catch a show at Ipswich Civic Centre
During the school holidays, the Civic Centre have two children’s shows. Trash Test Dummies is a side-splitting slapstick comedy routine that takes the household wheelie bin to new heights, and delivers a dump-truck full of hilarity. For the younger kids, The Wiggles are touring but be quick, most tickets are already sold.
Play and learn at the Ipswich Library
With the recent installation of the STEAM room at the Ipswich Library, there’s plenty of fun to be had! Children can experience the latest virtual reality gear or just find a quiet corner to read the latest books and magazines.
