If you haven’t already heard of it, Galentines Day is all about celebrating your gals with your gals! The concept comes from the American comedy series ‘Parks and Recreation’ starring Amy Poehler. In the 16th episode of the second series Poehler’s character Leslie throws her annual “Galentine’s Day” party for her female friends, celebrated the day before Valentine’s Day.

It’s basically just a day to celebrate the special gals in your life and it’s the perfect chance to get them all together: your friends, your mum, your sisters or even your co-workers.
