Having a little bit of fun on the weekends shouldn’t mean breaking the bank. Luckily for us Ipswich folk, the Heritage Bank Movies in the Park are returning in 2017!
Four Ipswich suburbs will take part in the FREE program.
The free program will include screenings of family-friendly films in parks, reserves and other open spaces across the city. Since its launch in 2007, the Movies in the Park have become one of Ipswich’s most popular and favourite community events, with more than 2,000 attendees at last year’s sessions.
Movies in the Park:
Saturday 18 February: Rise of the Guardians (PG), 7pm at Robelle Domain, Springfield Central.
Saturday 18 March: Finding Dory (G), 7pm at Redbank Plains Recreation Reserve.
Friday, 31 March: Storks (G), 7pm at Sutton Park, Brassall.
Want more freebies, you say? Don’t forget, the Twilight Markets held in the Ipswich City Square every Friday evening (4pm-8pm) have free movie screenings, free wi-fi and free parking!
If you decide to indulge in the array of food, beverages and arts and crafts available for purchase, you’ll be doing a good deed by helping raise funds for FOCAL Community Inc.
