Harvey Norman has a new, spectacular location – Booval – with everything for the home at one convenient location. Electrical Franchisee Ryan Whittingstall said the move gave Ipswich customers more access to a broader range.

“The move gives the Ipswich community a broader level of access to Harvey Norman franchises,” Ryan said.

“We had electrical and computers in the Mall, but we’ve now expanded that out to five different franchises, adding flooring, bedding and furniture.

Ryan also added that ease of access to the store was a contributing factor to the multimillion dollar expansion.

“I think parking outside the store is very, very good for our customers,” he said.

“And we now have undercover car parking as well.”

Furniture Franchisee Brendan Nash said the addition of the furniture, bedding and flooring franchises meant they were able to be that “whole home solution” for Ipswich customers.

“We have everything you can need for the home, everything you could possibly need,” he said.

“In terms of furniture, we deal with the best furniture suppliers in the country.

“There’s a lot of Brisbane-made furniture on the floor as well. We keep that here to support local business.”

Expansion of Harvey Norman in Ipswich is also great for local job opportunities.

“The expansion means we were able to hire 40 new employees across the different franchises,” Ryan said.

Across all five franchises, Harvey Norman has ensured that their prices are geared to the budgets of people across the board.

“We will beat any genuine competitors price,” Ryan said.

“From $29 kettles to $219 kettles, there’s something for everyone – and that’s the case across all departments in the store.”
