An Ipswich first in digital technology is Country Farmyard Cafe’s introduction of a new phone app, which enables customers to order and pay online from their mobile device.

The Skip online app works by utilising GPS to allow subscribers to see food venues in their immediate area or in a location of their choice .

With full menu options available including food and coffee, organising a take-away or lunch on a busy day can be done in a tap.

Owner, Richard said the app cuts waiting times for customers and builds revenue for the business.

“More than 200 people walk past my window every morning and now with SKIP they can order their coffee when they park the car and it will be ready for them to pick up from the window when they arrive with no que, no wait and no cash handling,” he said.

“It’s also great for those in the CBD who are busy and unsure of their lunch break times, it means they can see our entire menu online, order and then it will be ready to pick up.”

Richard said the App put his Cafe on the map for visitors and locals and is a simple yet innovative solution to a busy schedule.
