Zendaya – more like Zen’slay’a, am I right? The multihyphenate has achieved so much in so little time; and looks amazing whilst doing so.

From humble beginnings to getting her big break on Disney’s “Shake It Up”, Zendaya has gone on to starring in a mega movie franchise, starting her own fashion line and paving her way as a style icon. Zendaya has been praised by other women of colour for embracing her natural hair on the red carpet and social media, which in turn breaks down negative stereotypes surrounding natural hair.

At such a young age, Zendaya embraces a level of demure and grace that some of her Hollywood peers with much more experience have not grasped.

The fashionista dares to play with different looks and hairstyles that are modern takes on previous decades. Telling People magazine that red carpets are her ‘favourite’, the young starlet said: “When you latch on to something from the past, it’s almost like it’s new again..So I love exploring with different things from different decades. It’s fun.”
