Always at the leading edge of gardening power tools and equipment, Ipswich Mower & Saw Service now offers Stihl battery-powered equipment. The new range boasts excellent power and endurance, with the added benefit of being both quiet and environmentally friendly.
Introduction of the new range of battery powered electric yard equipment is testament to Ipswich Mower & Saw Service’s willingness to transition to meet the needs of their customers. The range will complement pre-existing fuel powered lines of Stihl products and caters for their more urban-based customers.
Emission-free, quiet and 100 per cent mobile, STIHL cordless tools can be used to perform a wide variety of tasks and have countless benefits for gardening enthusiasts, professional gardeners and craftsmen.
The extensive battery range includes lawn mowers, chainsaws, brush cutters, blowers and smaller trimmers and sheers.
Owner Jon Vermeer said battery operated lines would suit residents of new estates being built in the area such as Eco-Ripley.
“People with smaller yards are now looking for a simple but effective solution to their mowing and garden maintenance needs,” he said.
“Previously, we saw the need for large, high powered equipment dominating our product lines but now, since the area has become more urban with smaller blocks, people are seeking a product that does the same job but is more user friendly.”
“These products are easier to start and turn on at the touch of a button and there’s no need to mix fuel. They are quiet and also with no emissions they are friendlier to our local environment.”
Jon said the range included professional grade electric equipment, and he said an economically priced lighter line will be launched soon.
There are three battery solutions for powering the equipment: the battery can be placed into the equipment, the user can wear a battery belt connected via a cord, and for the professional larger jobs there’s an additional battery backpack that offers up to four times the run time.
“The battery backpack is excellent for tradesmen working in noise sensitive areas or in confined spaces, and this allows them to get the job done without the interruption of a battery change,” Jon said.
“The battery belt pack also allows domestic users to reduce the weight in their hands making the equipment more versatile and more user friendly.”
Jon said customers will be pleased with the durability of the tools.
“You won’t find these tools returning to the workshop in a hurry because despite their advanced technology they are hard working, built tough and have the same high level quality, Stihl customers have come to expect.”
Click and collect will soon be offered, which allows customers to order online and then pick up in store. This means customers can order in the convenience of their own home. In addition, a 12-month interest free payment plan will also be introduced soon.
With new items being added to the line this month now is the time to visit Ipswich Mower and Saw Service at 466 Warwick Road Yamanto or online at www.ipswichmowers.com.au.
