South East Queensland’s largest locally handmade market has made Ipswich its new home.
The Workshops Rail Museum staged the largest locally handmade markets on October 21, in conjunction with local not-for-profit organization, BrisStyle.
Another two events are planned, to be held in the historic rail yards at North Ipswich on Friday, December 16.
More than 60 different stallholders, with a variety of unique, locally handmade items will again display their wares across the venue, including handmade clothing, children’s products, original art, homewares, jewellery and more.
The Workshops Rail Museum will host Torchlight Tours of the Museum at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm at a cost of just $5 per adult (children under 15 are free with an accompanying adult).
A licensed on-site bar and a variety of food trucks and food options will ensure guests of the event are well catered for.
The event will also feature live music by duo performers Johanna and Jayden.
Entry to the event is just $2 per person with children under 15 free, with an accompanying adult.
The Museum Twilight Markets will take place from 5pm – 9pm December 16 and again next February.
These events are a great activity for the whole family, and held at a site with a rich Ipswich history.
