As part of this education process the sales team recently toured the Sleepyhead and Dunlop Foams factories, to see the production processes in making the incredible range of Australian made mattresses, from start to finish.
Owner/Manager David Holdorf said Sleepyhead mattresses are made in Brisbane.

“This gives our staff so much confidence in selling the Sleepyhead mattresses, having seen firsthand the amount of quality control and product testing carried out throughout the entire manufacturing process.
He said that the Sleepyhead difference is that their pocket springs are manufactured in their Brisbane factory from the highest quality Australian Made Steel. “A pocket spring mattress creates the perfect spring system for limiting movement and partner disturbance in a mattress, so that’s important,” David said.
The final stage of manufacturing a mattress is adding the various foam comfort layers to create the unique feel catering for everyone’s personal preference. The foam plant, Dunlop Foams is owned by Sleepyhead, which means they can ensure they are getting quality foam created specifically for each type of mattress. “Revolutionary products like Graphene and Fusion Gel are being created specifically for the bedding industry to help create the perfect night’s sleep,” David said.
