Museum Twilight Markets
May 11 – The Workshops Rail Museum, 5-9pm
Quality handmade market stalls, food vendors, a licensed bar, a free craft workshop, children’s entertainment, live music and $10 torchlight tours of the Rail Museum, these Twilight Markets make this a great event for the whole family! Set in the grounds of the historic Ipswich Railway Workshops, you’ll have a great time exploring the venue as the sun sets over the workshops and the fairy lights twinkle in the trees. Free on street parking available.
Great Houses of Ipswich

The National Trust, through its Ipswich Branch and in partnership with the owners of three Great Houses, is very proud to help open the doors to just a few of the outstanding heritage residences.
On 12 May 2018 three privately owned heritage homes including Rhossilli at 4 Glebe Road, Newtown and Dougleen at 67 Thorn Street, Ipswich will open to the public.
Free entry to National Trust members and students and $5 per person per property for other visitors. Children and students are free. There are no bookings.
This open day is a fantastic opportunity to see these private residences.
Planning Weddings Expo
May 13 – Ipswich Civic Centre, 10am-3pm
Find all the suppliers you need to make your wedding day amazing.
There will be Celebrants, Photographers, Venues, Cake Makers, Make Up Artists and Hair Stylists, just to name a few.
They will have lucky door prizes being drawn on the day so make sure you register your details on arrival.
As the expo falls on Mothers Day, all mothers of the bride who attend will receive a special gift on the day.
