Color Run Hero Tour
August 19, Broadwater Parklands

The Color Run, also known as The Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a 5km, untimed event in which thousands of participants are doused from head to toe in different color combinations. This year, The Color Run series is hero-themed, complete with an all new participant kit including a unicorn hero medal and lightning bolt tee, new course elements and a super-charged Finish Festival.

The Color Run caters to all ages and abilities. Kids under 5 run free!

Celtic Celebrations
August 30, Ipswich Civic Centre

A morning Celtic show featuring the beautiful mezzo soprano voice of Kathleen Moore, and the hilarious stand-up comedy of Bubble.

Kathleen Moore was a major principal with The Western Australian Opera Company and Opera Australia.

Comedy is provided by the pint sized award winning British comedienne – Bubble.

The Effervescence Festival
August 31-September 2, Spicers Hidden Vale

Walk the ‘champagne trail,’ set over the stunning 12,000 acre property of Spicers Hidden Vale where tasting stations are hosted by representatives from major and smaller family-owned champagne houses. Effervescence offers champagne lovers not just the opportunity to taste a broad range of champagnes, but to talk to people in the know; both makers and educators.
