Goodna Jacaranda Festival

The Jacaranda Festival is back! Featuring a packed program of music, band competitions, talent shows and dance spectaculars, the festival is the perfect way to spend a glorious weekend. Side Show Alley is turning it up this year with over eighteen different rides and attractions to keep you entertained.

Film Festival Celebration
2 to 9pm October 19
Springfield Markets

Celebrate Ipswich Film Festival! View all of the winning films on the big screen with food and drinks. The night will feature a film screening and awards all afternoon till evening. Multicultural food, jumping castles and fanfare! To book a stall visit the Springfield Markets website.

Didgeridoo Bush Camp
October 5-27

Didgeridoo Bush Camp is a three-day non-for-profit Didgeridoo event for boys and men of all ages and levels. Legend and Didgeridoo Virtuoso, Uncle Mark Atkins and Australian Roots multi-instrumental didgeridoo player Nathan Kaye will perform workshops and live performances. The weekend also includes the opportunity to make your own Didgeridoo.

Mobile Nursery in Yamanto
8am-11am October 26

The Ipswich City Council is offering six free plants to Ipswich residents at it’s latest Mobile Nursery in Yamanto. All you need to bring is some proof of residency and a trolley for all those plants!
